View in-depth information about the Orders processed on your Shopify store through Razorpay Magic Checkout on the Dashboard.


Magic Checkout's Order Analytics Dashboard gives you an in-depth view of the Order-related activities on your Shopify store. It helps in decision making, revenue analysis, and provides payment method insights. You can also measure effectiveness with the help of UTM parameter tracking and product performance.

Follow the steps given below to view the Order Analytics Dashboard:

  1. Log in to the .
  2. Navigate to Magic Checkout (under PAYMENT PRODUCTS) → Order Analytics.

Handy Tips

  • The data populated is from 1st March 2023 for all the reports except Traffic by UTM Parameters and Top Selling Products, from 1st May 2023.
  • Navigate to Custom Range and filter the range to display the data based on your choice. This applies to all the reports.

The actual order value collected from the customers during order placement. It includes COD and shipping charges, deducting any coupon/discount value.

View total sales

The total number of orders placed by customers on Magic Checkout during the time range serves as a key metric for assessing sales volume and tracking demand trends over time.

Customers' average amount spent per order indicates the transaction size and revenue generated per purchase.

View average order value

The comparison of revenue generated from prepaid orders versus cash on-delivery (COD) orders. This helps you understand the impact of different payment methods on their overall sales and make informed decisions about payment options.

The comparison of the total number of orders placed by customers who opted for prepaid versus cash on delivery payment method. This helps in understanding customer preferences regarding payment methods and making informed decisions about payment options.

The order analysis is based on specific parameters such as source, medium, and campaign. This helps you understand which marketing campaigns, channels, or sources drive the most orders and sales to your Shopify store. You can filter the data to view the analysis on all parameters.

View traffic by UTM parameters
  • Source: It identifies the specific source of orders. For example, if a link is shared on WhatsApp, the UTM source would be WhatsApp.

  • Medium: It defines the general category or type of traffic, such as email, social media, video or click-through advertisement, or referral. For example, if a link is included on Facebook, social media is the UTM medium.

  • Campaign: It tracks a specific marketing campaign or promotion. It helps differentiate between different initiatives within the same source and medium. For example, if you are running a summer sale, the UTM campaign would be a summer sale.

It analyses sales data to identify the most popular product categories that generate the highest total revenue. This helps you understand which products are selling well and lets you focus on maximising sales and profitability in those categories.
