As a Solution Architect at Curlec, you’ll lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and technical standards. If you have a strong passion for software quality and love being a driving force for innovation, this role is tailor-made for you.

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Pre-sales Scoping – Own the pre-sales process in scoping technical requirements for potential clients.
  • Onboarding – Onboard clients who require product customisation to ensure The Curlec Payment Gateway integrates seamlessly with the client’s platform.
  • Project Management – Own the technical onboarding & customisation timeline and act as liaison between Enterprise Sales and Technical teams.
  • Evaluate & Innovate – Conduct technical product evaluations and collaborate with the Engineering team to identify and design technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Troubleshooting – Troubleshoot issues and work effectively with a global team for timely resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in software development.
  • Expertise in modern design patterns, microservices, event-driven IT architectures, cloud-based technology offerings, and deployment architecture options.
  • Strong understanding of security, controls, privacy, and compliance in the financial services domain, including PCI certification and other quality assurance audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of payment transactions, authorisation, acquiring processes, payment gateway integration, tokenisation, and other payment channels and financial transactions.
  • Proficient in card scheme specifications (VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX).
  • Expert knowledge of mobile app development practices and full-stack development using open-source components.
  • Experienced in working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to collect requirements, and communicate the architecture vision and status effectively.
  • Possess a strong spirit of innovation, independent problem-solving skills, and a passion for software quality.
  • Outstanding technical and non-technical communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work well with others, including the capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently.

Location & Commitments

Permanent full time role based at our office in Bangsar South
