Branding

You can modify the Curlec Checkout to reflect your brand colour and logos. You can also make customer email an optional field on Curlec Checkout. These configurations can be done on the Curlec Dashboard.

Update Brand Name

You can update the brand name displayed to your customers in the following places:

On transaction and refund emails sent to customers.
On the links sent to customers for Payment Links , Payment Pages, Invoices and Subscriptions.

Example

While creating the Curlec account, you provided the name as Acme Corp; now, you want to change it to Acme Co.

Handy Tips

This feature is available only for the registered Curlec users.
Only users with 'Owner' or 'Admin' roles can update the brand name.
Bank-related SMS or credit card statements sent to customers will not have the brand name since these are managed by the banks and not Curlec. Such communication will display the billing name provided by you during account creation and activation process.

To update your brand name:

Log in to the
Curlec Dashboard
.
Click Account & Settings in the left navigation.
Click Branding under the Checkout settings section.
Click the edit icon in the Brand Name field.
A list of recommended brand names appear.
- Select one of the names from the list, or
- Enter a custom brand name. Ensure that the custom name you are entering is similar to the business name or your business website domain.
Click Save Changes.

The brand name appears updated on the Dashboard and will reflect on all the above-mentioned places.

Change Theme Color on Checkout

To change theme color on the Checkout:

Log in to the
Curlec Dashboard
.
Click Accounts & Settings and go to Branding under Checkout settings.
In the Theme Color field, enter the HEX code of your brand color. For example, #005CF0. Alternatively, click on the color box and enter the RGB code.
Click Save.

Upload Company Logo

To upload company logo on the Checkout:

Log in to the
Curlec Dashboard
.
Click Accounts & Settings and go to Branding under Checkout settings.
Click Choose File to upload your company logo.

Handy Tips

The logo file size should not exceed 1MB.
Upload a square image of minimum dimensions 256x256 px.

Configure Email Address

By default, the email address field is hidden on checkout. You can choose to configure the email address field based on your requirement.

To configure email address:

Log in to Curlec Dashboard.
Navigate to Account & Settings
Click Branding under the Checkout settings section.
In the Collect email address from users on Checkout page field, you can select:
- No (Default): Customers will not be shown this field on checkout.
- As an optional field: Customers can either enter their email address or choose to skip it.
- As a mandatory field: Customers have to enter their email address to proceed.
Click Save.
