The following table lists all the commonly used terms and their definitions used in Invoices:
Term | Definition |

Invoice | An Invoice is a digital document that summarises the details of an order or a transaction and allows customers to initiate payments. A typical invoice contains sale transaction information such as the name of the ordered products or services, quantities, price breakup, receipt number, customer information and so on. |
Expiry Date | The Expiry Date is the date after which the customer cannot pay for the invoice. |
Issue Date | The Issue Date is the date on which an invoice is issued and sent to the customer. |
Billing Address | The Billing Address is the address of the customer to be used for billing purposes. The Billing Address and Shipping Address may or may not be the same for a customer. |
Shipping Address | The Shipping Address is the address of the customer to which the ordered item will be shipped. The Billing Address and Shipping Address may or may not be the same for a customer. |
Unit Price | The Unit Price is the price of a single item. |
Payment Link | A short URL added in the invoice notifications that are sent to the customers via email or SMS. The customers can click the link to make online payments. |
